In accordance with Pildne’s experience in shipbuilding and exploitation of floating fuel stations, new floating fuel station PILDNE for use in sea water was designed and built.

 During floating fuel station development next aims were set and completed:

• New floating fuel station “PILDNE” includes 7-years experience in projecting, shipbuilding and exploitation;
• Long-term period of maintenance-free service exploitation in sea water;
• High quality performance
• Considered and improved environmental protection system;
• Fuel system  related with storage and issuance of oil products has 5-step security from any leakages, also double walled tank installed with pressure system control;
• Long-run, without any visual changes during long period of time. It was accomplished because of broad  use of stainless steel and galvanized metal;
• High security level from the corrosion with use the of frame metallizing and four times protection by paints and lacquers;
• High level of construction’s ruggedness, it means that metal gage allows exploitation without any repair works during ten years period (frame’s metal gage reaches 18 mm);
• It is possible to pair several floating fuel stations in a unique construction;
• Absence of several ship systems such as: ballast system, ventilation system between tank’s walls;
• High level of floodability (foam inside the pontoons);
• Fuel tank is 20, 30 or 40 м³, double-walled and built under supervision of Lloyd’s Register. It could be filled in with up to three types of fuel;
• Floating fuel station has integrated lighting-conductor;
• System of explosion protection is improved;
• Specially designed furniture for operator’s cabin could be offered additionally;
• System for waste-transfer pump from other water transport could be installed;
• Floating fuel station is registered under Lloyd’s Register;
• The construction of the floating fuel station and its systems are approved by Lloyd’s Register and  international requirements, related with environmental protection, storage and operation with fuel;
• After certification of PILDNE’s factory by Lloyd’s Register, the agreement regarding construction and supervision of floating fuel stations PILDNE were signed.
